Whew, this was the slowest backcountry ski I've ever done! Went with Soren (who is not slow) and his friend who was in town, and who brought 4 other friends with her. That group was slow. But it worked out for the best because avy danger was considerable, so going further probably would not have been the best for today. Mt Aire will be a ton of fun to summit on another day though! My new Ski Like a Girl hat arrived in the mail today, but just a couple hours to late to make it out for this tour. R knee still feeling stiff & sore & weak. Still icing when I remember.
Shoveling. 45 minutes in the morning after getting home from work and another 20-25 in the evening before going into work. I don’t love sacrificing sleep, but my roommate works today and then flies out tomorrow morning for the weekend, so if I didn’t get to it between shifts, it would be a couple days of getting heavy and settling before shoveling
