Forest ride out
Out through Totton and up the hill towards Wellow. The road was still rough and loose so not a great route. Then a lovely free flowing ride through the Forest down towards Cadnam. Then through Woodlands and past Deerleap.

New Copse and Perry Wood with Nick
Doing a few controls from the CSC heat 2 years ago, alternating lead. Not necessarily the best navigation but good to get out again. A bit hot in tshirt and rain jacket.

On the drive over realised I had forgotten to pick up my O shoes. Slipped a couple of times but didn't fall over. Basically took it pretty steady, not easy running with no grip in loads of mud and water.

Got a bit cold after, definitely a test of the layers. Wore short sleeve damp helly, windshirt, jumper, primaloft top and coat. Wet feet, no gloves and hat.

A sports centre and Common loop
Legs felt a bit tired and heavy (post strength work?) and didn't feel liek I was moving amazingly well. Still moving quicker than a few months ago. New shoes felt tight across the bottom of the feet.

Lunchtime ride in the sun
Out through Baddesley to Hursley, through Slakestead to Braishfield then back via Baddesley.
Bailed on my normal Monday lunchtime yoga last minute to get out on a nice day. A good ride bar the Slakestead road which was pretty icey and dicey. Legs felt a little tired on a couple of the hills but otherwise moving fairly well.
