F#*@ing fuming that my spot in the Bushrangers (second) relay team got taken off me as punishment for the DNF yesterday. Not sure why, I wasn't in the Bushrangers team. Leon was, and DNFd, and got the same demotion to an unofficial team with me and bertbennett.

So today was was a balancing act - beat the Bushrangers, but don't ruin the legs on a pointless race. Easily achieved the first objective, will find out tomorrow about the second one.

It was always gonna be a tough ask for me to run all three non-sprint Oceania races so i always has thoughts of cutting this one short and once I picked up the map and realised it was gonna be a brutal day out I decided to treat this as a warm up for the relay. I wasn't in the Bushrangers team & there were plenty of Cockies so I wasn't too worried, actually wish I entered M40 so I could have had some training on 1:10000 before the relay. I picked and chose a few legs to run (even some backwards - sorry for confusing you bertbennett!), seemed to get the hang of it by the end...

Shortened run in to work (didn't wanna run too long and the boys needed to get out of the house so they dropped me part way). Did 4 x 30sec efforts with 2min recovery towards the end.

Warm up, then a 20min Monagetti intervals session, and a warm down. Legs stiffened up a bit afterwards but feeling ok during.
