Note
slept:9.0 (rest day)

Another late night in the city. Got enough sleep and arguably had the best meal of my life at this Thai place in Long Island City. Was a great weekend and I have an easy week of school ahead of me before our competition this weekend.

In NYC. Was up late but got plenty of sleep before the UCONN game. And Army won! Solid day but was really cold.

Boxing 50:00 [3]
slept:6.0

More implementation of the cross.
Had one 30 second bout where we were allowed to use a cross to the head and I'm pretty sure I gave a kid a concussion. I'll find out Wednesday I guess.

Boxing 50:00 [3]
slept:6.0

More work with the cross.
4 PM

Biking 42:00 [4] 16.35 mi (2:34 / mi)

Great bike workout + some armchair O.
Kept the level between 10 and 15 the entire time. RPM stayed above 110 almost the entire time. Had my heart rate around 160 for about 10 miles, above 170 for 3, and above 180 for a solid minute or so towards the end. I'm actually starting to like the bike.

Orienteering 30:00 [3] 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi) +300ft 9:08 / mi
slept:9.0

Did 4 points with a CC. Sucks that it's getting dark outside so soon though.

Boxing 50:00 [3]
slept:4.5

Stayed up late watching Django Unchained. What a good movie!
Anyways, in boxing I started to learn the cross. Was a non-contact day that was more upbeat due to a lot of moving.
4 PM

Running intervals 38:15 [4] 5.54 mi (6:54 / mi) +944ft 5:57 / mi

4 x Run around Lusk (.7 miles) with a recovery of another Lusk loop.
1st Run - 3:52 (5:36 pace)
1st Recovery- 5:44 (8:20 pace)
2nd Run - 4:07 (5:57 pace)
2nd Recovery- 5:29 (8:04 pace)
3rd Run- 4:16 (6:10 pace)
3rd Recovery- 5:13 (7:39 pace)
4th Run- 4:09 (5:56 pace)
4th Recovery- 5:31 (8:07 pace)

Run and Recovery times got closer together. Which is good I guess. It was a great interval workout considering I haven't done any XC type work in ages, I was on 3 straight days of not doing anything, and I consumed a lot of soda and junk food over the weekend / right before we ran.
8 PM

Core 25:00 [3]

Totals:
90 burpees and lower ab work.
