Sunday Sep 25 #

slept:11.0 (rest day)

Travel day back to West Point. Did push-ups and sit-ups in my room. Time to start hitting the roads hard to prep for the Stockville.

Saturday Sep 24 #

slept:7.0 (rest day)

Hardly a rest day. NC's Academy Day lasted about 5 hours and completely wore me out. My presentation was pretty solid. The rest of the day was nice with my family.

Friday Sep 23 #

slept:6.25 (rest day)

Travel day back home for CPRC. I wish I could have been with the team, but duty calls in NC.

Orienteering (Musical O-Bags) 1:20:00 [3]
rhr:55 slept:6.58

Absolutely love Musical O-bags. It requires relatively no orienteering skill, so that allows me to be above average compared to the rest of the team.
In the end it was two orienteers who should have been running the 800 collegiately: Andy and I. Andy ending up winning, but I still have yet to lose a Go-Control, so I still have that on him. It was a fun practice!

Truman Scholarship interview today went alright. It was by far the hardest interview of my life, but hopefully it reaps positive results. Definitely needed that academic day.

On the Orienteering side of the house: did a fun course today thanks to the ever amazing Campbells and Culbergs. Got absolutely lost on the last point after doing halfway decent before it. It was a fun course and a beautiful day to be out in the woods. It's actually been awhile since I've been smiling at the end of a course.

rhr:57 slept:8.0 (injured) (rest day)

Took an academic day today because I have my Truman Scholarship interview tomorrow afternoon. I'm pretty nervous, but hopefully all will go well.

Monday Sep 19 #

rhr:56 slept:4.5 (injured) (sick) (rest day)

Training meeting, then had to put in a lot of time on a patch design, put in purchase requests, and coordinate with Mike Bruce to attend the Stockville (he should be coming). I'm still sick, primarily happens in the mornings after eating even the slightest amount of food. On a positive note, my blisters have almost healed and the sharp pain is slowly starting to cease.
