Woke up bright and early to travel to Duke to talk at the pre-game brief with the Supe, Comm, and others. Was great supporting the Army team and not having to brave through that football game.
As for working out, R.I.P HURRICANE MATTHEWWW.
It rained from 0600 to 2400. There was no way I could run. Some areas of NC got 16 inches of rain. Luckily back home didn't flood.

TDY travel day to NC in support of the USMA vs. Duke game. I sure do love traveling on the military's dime. Had priority boarding and who can complain about a free weekend back home with the folks?

Won the battle against my company to drill with my team. Shout out to Christian for saving the day. Ended up not drilling and the Thayer Award dinner was pretty cool.

Arvin Day (Basketball) 1:30:00 [3]
slept:5.75

Balled out with David Weinmann, David Sayles, Riley Eck, James Richie, Justin Augustine, Sam Jones, Luke Eckstein, Will Whitaker, and Matt Brooks. Was such a great time, way better than drill. Team bonding is steadily increasing and there's no better way to facilitate that than competitive sports.

Went for a run today at Harriman State Park with John McCormick and Jesson. Was a beautiful day and didn't even mind that we practically orienteered half of it. John led us down a game trail that eventually disappeared, so we just ran through the woods until we found the road. It was a really fun day and I'm seeing a lot of team bonding going on. It's a great year to be on the Orienteering team and hopefully we can make our way out to Harriman more before snow hits the ground.

Did the run today with Jess. Was a great time catching up and listening to her talk about her grandfather's memorial this past weekend.
