MTB ride to Bristol for UOBCC Cake Race round 50 acre. Through Wrington, bridleways to airport, down Bourton Coombe, up Belmont. Legs again felt very tired, got in a grump!

Loop of 50 acre wood for UOBCC Cake Race :) didn't even come last in a men only field!

Ride back from UOBCC Cake Race, via the White Hart at Weston-in-Gordano for lunch :) Feeling better!

really struggled to get into the ride, my legs felt tired, I hadn't eaten too long before hand and tight waistband on leggings didn't help! Struggled up Burrington Coombe, took it steady across the top, lovely descent through Cheddar Gorge. Road to Axbridge wasn't as uphill as i'd throught so that was nice and enjoyed contouring around the bottom of Crook's Peak. Some ups and downs through Loxton/Banwell/Sandford, maybe lacking motivation today!

Frustrating trip, aim was to ride to Bristol and back but front light changed from green to red battery level by Congesbury so forced to turn back and drive in. Sad :(

Another steady road ride with the uni club, maybe should have gone with the medium fast group as this was still too slow. Nice weather and circuit taking in Portishead, Clevedon, Brockley Coombe (pushed hard), Winford and Ashton Court.

Didn't have time for my planned route but managed to stretch it out, was aiming for 1.5hrs. Nice ride up Cheddar Gorge, pushed harder than before and got some Strava PRs for the climb :)

Running intervals 22:31 [4] 5.0 km (4:30 / km) +21m 4:25 / km

5km time trial - felt good on the first lap, lost a bit of speed on lap two as no runners around me, pushed harder on last 500m. Pleased to have got a new PR on this circuit.
