Newborough Warren Event 2

Physically felt better but a bit tired today. Felt like it wasn't as tough as yesterday but was probably just going slower. Maybe the mix of terrain and leg length made me feel less tired.

Technicaly I was also better with only a few mistakes due to drifting off a bearing in some depressions and green. Felt like I was flowing more than yesterday and was more in contact with the map.

Overall an ok race where I could have gained a small amount of time because of running and a couple of minutes because of nav in the circle. Again more long races needed

Newborough Warren Event 1

Physically slow and exhausted but kept going fairly solidly all the way through, need to get better at theses longer races.

Same thing technically, started ok then faded a bit then had a gel, recovered and then went back to very scrappy towards the end.

Overall a decent race that without a couple of mistakes could have been ok. Looking forward to/dreading the same again tomorrow.
