Road Bike 2:10:00 [3]56.8 km (2:17 / km) +800m 2:08 / km
ahr:146 max:173 shoes: Ridley Orion
Ride with Timmy. From his house along Channel Hwy over Bonnet Hill, into Kingston and around to Blackmans Bay, then up a cool little climb and descent into Howden, across to Margate then onto Longely via Sandfly, then an awesome climb up the back of Mt Wellington to Fern Tree. Stopped too long at Fern Tree and cooled down way too much, so made the ride back down to Tim's very cold.
Would like to have seen the little sbs percentage work done on the front graphic for today's ride... I think it would be very one sided.......
For once it seems like my heart rate monitor handled the ride ok and didnt have the ridiculously high spikes when going downhill.

Touch 40:00 [4]
Mixed. Won 5-2. Back in form. Only had one girl sub and no guys, but everyone played really well. Had our A-team out today, with all our good girls and Laura filling in which helped out. Very wet conditions, but started to play some decent touch again. Hopefully can keep it up over the next few weeks and get into finals with some sort of chance.

Tuesday Jul 15

Road Bike 44:00 [3]21.5 km (2:03 / km) +300m 1:55 / km
ahr:152 shoes: Ridley Orion
Ride in to Rosny to meet Timmy and then up to Emma's house... where Tim's new crap gumby bike knocked mine over and put lots of scratches along the top tube. Emma felt my pain and bought me a coffee to try to cheer me up... I'm still in mourning tho.
Running 23:00 [1]3.9 km (5:54 / km)
ahr:133 max:152 shoes: Brooks Cascadia
Short run back at my place after the ride with Emma... If I ever needed reassurance that it was winter, tonight certainaly provided it. It was dark, wet, misty, and cold... but thankfully the drizzle stopped before the run. I think Emma's headtorch contributed about 1 watt of light for us to run in.

Monday Jul 14

Touch 40:00 [4]
Mens. Won 10-2 or something. Was a good game... pretty busy first half but fairly quiet during the second. Had a few subs which makes a change!
