Running 1:00:00 [3] 9.0 mi (6:40 / mi)

Southern XC Champs, 30-something, worst race in a long, long time.

Started off alright, legs felt ok, and was comfortably in the front pack for the first mini lap. Pace started to increase a little on the second lap, but I still didn't really feel like I was working and must have been sitting in about 10th. Legs turned to shit at the top of the long hill though, lost a couple of places and my head just went straight down. Gave away places like a sieve through the last lap and finished very disheartened.

Should have been in the top 15 at the very least and felt like I may as well have been dead last.

10 x 1' [1'], 6 x 1' [45'']. Legs feeling pretty shit after lectures and not really into it, but just an easy session to get done before the race on Saturday

Running 55:25 [3] 8.2 mi (6:45 / mi)

Being very productive for once and running in a 2 hour gap between lectures. Worked my way out to the golf course in the attempt of getting a bit muddy and lost. Was a nice run though, beautiful morning

Long run. Legs actually felt really good, which was incredibly surprising after a pretty heavy bop last night. Boys were on top form as well, especially Christofi. Wytham with a lap of the nature reserve to finish, dropping a 6-minute mile on the way home accidentally. Think that's my longest ever run
