Pre-maxi level 3 pilates with Andrew. I am definitely not level 3 standard

Maxi 3 hour - Glenlyon Forest

Well tapered after some bad period pain earlier in the week. Route planning was a struggle by myself, but came up with something reasonable.

Headed off with Andrew, Scott and Martin Sime (?) and had a few moments when things weren't making much sense. After battling a thick gully with an invisible track we split and I got 2 other controls (involving another invisible track, but still happy with the route). By myself for a bit. Saw Andrew again a bit later but split soon after. Getting worried about time at this stage as it was still a long way back. Lost focus for a bit thinking about time and not where I was but avoided big mistakes.

Crossed the creek heading home and decided to get an extra control. Instantly regretted it when I ran into scrub and reeds. Had to push fairly hard for the last 30 mins and made it back with 2 mins spare.

Skipped 1 control from my plan but got enough for 2nd place overall. Happy with my body for making it through so well (on my dodgy training).!
