Orienteering 1:45:33 [3] 11.4 km (9:16 / km)
A race of various stages...
The 'I'll just run in the general direction, it will be close enough' stage to 1, ended up too low.
The 'oh lots of people have caught me, I should try' short stage to 2.
The 'it's up hill and I just fell over' stage to 4.
The 'I've given up and am going to admire the trees and examine the grass (poas keep their glumes after discarding seeds)' stage to 5.
The 'maybe I'll try again' / 'oh how exciting there's smoke let's not navigate in to the control and just hope' stages to 6.
The 'this is actually quite fun isn't it' stage to 9.
The 'thank god it's not far to map change' stage, closely followed by the 'thank god the 2nd loop is short' stage.
The 'can I hold off Jenny C in the last bit?' stage.
The 'no I can't' / 'why is the finish up hill?' stages.
Kind of enjoyed it, good to finish.
Highlight of the trip home was the 'Roadworks next 125km' sign.
