BIG afternoon ride with Jayne and Glen.

From Jayne's > Main Yarra Trail all the way to past Westerfolds > Mullum Mullum Creek Trail > Park Rd > Eastlink track > Koonung Creek Trail > Main Yarra Trail > Jayne's > Coburg.

Saw lots of new places I've never been before :) And the weather wasn't too bad. Jayne and I apparently have complementary skill sets - I'll take it on the gravel and hills, and she has everything else. Luckily there was a fair bit of gravel.

First time out on the Purple Peril in a while (literally had to dust him off). Hands, arms and shoulders a bit sore now.

Sprint into Spring 2 - Keilor Downs Schools

Can't crack it for the outright win on the hill leg!

I feel like my brain isn't fast enough to take in all it needs to in a sprint. Felt quite disoriented for the first few controls (actually, most of the time in the first school). Made a few route choice boo boos.

5' warm up.

7 laps of the track doing straights and bends. Legs a bit sore (shins).

Core strength/stretching 30:00 [1]

Training by Noora and Lotta.

Started with some jumping drills - I wasn't great at them.

Then did the intervals.

Finished off with some pretty cool core exercises - again, I wasn't that great at them. Fun though :)

Running 34:00 intensity: (6:25 @2) + (23:00 @3) + (4:35 @4)

5 x Coburg hills.

First time in a while. Have been crashing in the afternoons at work this week, and feeling like I'm getting sick in the evenings since Sunday, but keep waking up feeling fine. Happy to get out and do some hills - and was feeling pretty good. Need to do more of these (more hills per session, and more sessions).
