Orienteering 1:20:21 [3] 6.4 km (12:33 / km)

MelbushO, Macedon.

I seem to have taken a very wide route to the first control in hindsight, but at least I stayed dry. Regretted going low on 5-6 when it appeared much steeper than expected. Then completely lost it at the end of 6 (weird that Winsplits doesn't show it as a mistake). I was possibly in the out of bounds (maybe I kept going on the single track to the north, instead of heading west towards the control). Andreas Strasser stopped me on the way to 2 because his compass wasn't pointing north, then hung off me for the rest of the course. I think he took a different route on the long leg, but he popped up at the end making the same mistake I did.

Orienteering 1:23:58 [3] 6.4 km (13:07 / km)

Bendigo local, Royal George.

Couldn't get my legs going today! I blame the heat. Lost time getting stuck in the very thick green on 4, and lost more on 7, where I couldn't make the banks fit with the veg. Took lots of pretty wide route to try and avoid green later on.

Riding 1:30:00 [3]

Picked a nice smokey morning to make my pre-work return to the Boulie. My nose was running a lot (not sure if from the smoke or the cold I am fighting off). Nice out though. Should have left a bit earlier to get a bit less traffic. So many men out, but very few women. I needed a CB1 to boost the numbers.

Street O 40:00 [3]

Checking out the real estate around Moonee Ponds.

Started late and finished 2.5 mins late. Probably ran harder than I would have if I were by myself, but tried not to go all out. Enjoyed being on the C course. My original foot soreness is back.
