Virginia Hill long sprint.

My pre-race goal setting "to win" didn't quite come to fruition. Still had fun though :) Navigation was ok, although got a bit tricked by some greenery now and again. Took a few bad exit directions which confused me.

Running 31:00 [3]

Long warm up and short warm down at running club. I vetoed scrambling up the stupidly steep slope.

Running 15:00 intensity: (7:30 @2) + (7:30 @4)

3 x long hills. Legs not feeling so sprightly tonight (and even less so on the ride home).

Pretty wrecked at the end of the day (and got a cramp in my toe, which is pretty rare).

Orienteering 45:13 [3] 4.6 km (9:50 / km)

State series, Chewton.

Went out after a shift as marshal getting people across the road. Not really qualified for the job, given my traffic management accreditation refresher was due 3 years ago...

Had a pretty good run, and rather enjoyed it. No big mistakes, but a few little misses (mostly towards the end of the course). Was running fairly well.

Orienteering 30:41 [3] 3.2 km (9:35 / km)

Training after the race at Chewton.

Lots of controls the same as in the race, so probably wasn't quite as switched on as I should have been. Only took 1 split off Bruce.
