Running 43:54 [3] 8.0 km (5:29 / km)

Tuesday Trivia Run Club (just me and Reuben again).

Same loop as last time, but a full 25 seconds faster (even though last time was just after Eureka)! Felt like I was running quite hard, but legs didn't have any more in them.

Lovely evening for it :)

Orienteering 12:50 [3]

MFR Club Champs - Kew High School.

Caught up to Milla at #2, before she proceeded to get back in front when I missed a small track between 3 and 4. Got back in front and held her off until 19, when I hesitated a lot on the route choice leg and she took off after Will instead (a much better option). She kept me running hard!

Managed to dong my shin at some stage and turn my ankle getting over a fence - clearly urban areas are more dangerous than rocky ridgelines.

Running 24:30 [3]

Very slow jog up the creek as far as the logging, then back.

Stomach not feeling terribly happy, and knee was a bit sore going downhill. Felt a little better on the way back, but happy I didn't go out for 90 mins with the boys (not that I was ever considering it).

Running 3:30:00 [3] 15.0 km (14:00 / km)

Not-the-Cathedrals Challenge.

Almost recreated the route of my first overnight hike (but in reverse, and with a little bit extra). With Jayne from the campground at Ned's Gully, straight up the hill (yay!), then across a less used track to Little, North and main Cathedral. Then across to the Farmyard, South Jawbone and back via Cook's Mill. Beautiful up on the ridge line (apart from the March flies). Jayne absolutely hammered it on the way home down the creek (which is becoming a habit after a similar performance at Lerderderg).

Saw some pretty flowers and gave Jayne a bit of a botany lesson.

Enjoyed the run, because I like hills and rocks :) Glad Jayne doesn't favour running with bad music like they boys apparently did. I think it was much nicer doing the run ourselves, rather than in a race.

Orienteering 45:00 [3] 5.0 km (9:00 / km)

Verrry slow plod around Eltham Lower Park and Candlebark Park for some Christmas training.

Legs were hardly moving and wasn't really reading the map that well.

Very wet and rainy, and I saw a wombat!!!!!!!!

Riding 1:05:00 [3]

Merri > Ring Road > Upfield path.

Nice evening. Was a bit worried I was going to cop eyefulls of bugs because I left my sunnies at work, but it wasn't too bad.

Need to plan for more rides :)
