Vic Relays. Bendigo #2 team.

Match race with Blair. Finally got in front of him, before losing loooots of time on the first control in the green. Not surprising really, given I didn't really have a plan. Found the track, but didn't relocate properly off it. Looked around in the bush a bit more, went back to the track to work it out. Still not quite sure where I hit the track the first time. Bit annoying, but the rest of the race was good. Legs felt a bit tired at the start, and there were more hills than I expected!

Happy with the time off my current training :) Some parts felt good, some felt like hard work. Room to go faster.

Got the usual bonus sighting of our facilities manager from work - hope he's having a restful weekend before a week of moving people back to Nicholson St!

Legs weren't feeling amazing, but plodded around from 8 Nic. Rather enjoyed the run though - very pleasant evening. Zig zagged through Fitzroy Gardens, did a lap of the G and back.

Easy Clara fartlek.

Kept the metronome on - feels slow when I'm on an effort, and fast when trying to recover. Guess that makes sense.
