Vic Long Champs at Chinaman Flat, Linton

Fairly error-free run, but it just didn't feel very fast! Surprised to be only 13 mins down. Took the long track route to the right for the long leg, which seemed to take forever. I had hoped that my new compass would make me faster, but it didn't help as much as I would like!

Schools sprint training.

Good to get a bit of sprint practice in. Got caught in the rain at the end.

Made the mistake of joining the cruisy group at run club. Stop-start every few minutes (and probably not as cruisy as I'd like when we were actually running).

Got some annoying blisters from my run on Tuesday.

Also made the important discovery on my run last night that the exterior shots for Utopia are the Victorian School Building Authority building. Good to have them back in the hood.

Little lap of Fitzroy Gardens after work to try and clear the head.

Followed by 1 set of stairs. Had planned to do a stairs session but just wasn't feeling it so enjoyed the gardens instead :)

Had a day's time in lieu and spent a lot of it sitting outside reading a book. Also did my tax, vacuumed my room, and went for a run.

Felt pretty good running :) Although legs a bit tired after about 13km (which I'm not too surprised about). Hopefully didn't peak too soon for Long Champs...
