Orienteering 30:07 [3] 4.5 km (6:42 / km)

Monash indoor-outdoor sprint.

Took a few sub-optimal routes. Looking at the splits, I managed to lose most of my time on route choice (and one little error) outside. Was pushing it running, but didn't seem to be able to move very quickly...

Good fun!

Finally made it out for a run after 8pm.

North up the Merri to Blyth, then back via Piedemontes. Legs made it feel like pretty hard work at the start. Did a 'tempo' 6 mins or so from 20 mins, and was possibly a little quicker after that. Calves feeling tight.

She kindly suggested I was welcome to go faster if I wanted, but I politely declined. Legs weren't feeling it at all!
