Fowl and Fizz, Dead Bullock Gully

First time back out in the bush and went better than expected. Managed to get all controls with time to spare. One slight overrun when David and Craig went past me. Pushed relatively hard at the end to make sure I was back on time.

Had been wondering how long my string of doing an interval session per week was going to last, and feared it might be a total of 1 week.

Went out for an short evening ramble up Red Box track, 5 min w/u, 6 x 30s on, 30s off, w/d. About as easy as possible to still be classed as intervals...

Worked from Aspendale for the day, and went out with Ness for an after work beach jog and dip in the sea :) :)

Was quite lovely! Went barefoot half in the shallows on the way back, and it seemed like harder work!

Buller Summit track.

From where we stayed up to the summit (running almost the whole way except for a few steps part way up), then fanged it back down. Such a lovely day at the top - I could have stayed for hours (and was considering a career change to fire spotter). Legs feeling a bit better today!!
