Today's Strava Art was another threatened species, this time from Bendigo - the Pink-tailed worm-lizard :)

First part of the run was drawing some Strava Art...

"pTeresa the Pteropus poliocephalus (grey-headed flying fox). She usually hangs out at Yarra Bend, and can be seen winging it over Clifton Hill of an evening. She's battling rising temperatures and habitat loss."

Felt really slow but pace was good - kept looking at my watch and getting surprised.

Kept going to make it up to a longer run and use up the hour. Finished with a couple of laneway loops to make it up to 10km.

Intervals - 10 x 200m

Easy recoveries (walk/jog) so I could go hard in the efforts seemed to pay off. Speed hump towards the end of the even number intervals is a bit nasty. Happy with the pace.

Warm down. Got an annoying blister on my right foot.
