NOL long - Petticoat Gully

Another long day out. At least a little bit easier to run than the day before, but I was still very slow!

Lost a bit of time on 4 (I think I crossed the track once without realising), and got very lucky on 5 (found it when I was just thinking how I'd lost contact). Bad route choice on 13 not realising it was on the other side of a green creek. Last few controls were a bit of a slog.

Not overly looking forward to Easter...

Legs feeling really heavy, and never got going. Right hamstring tight. Even though I was running slowly, I was still struggling to navigate at that pace! Think I got most of the routes right, but a few hesitations.

NOL Middle - Mt Alexander

Tough day. Lost a lot of time on 3 (about 6 contours too high - I think I'd misread my blackberry patches and subsequent clearings). Navigation wasn't too bad after that, but very slow and hesitant.

Kind of ran out of time. Playing very bad host to my friend who is staying! Legs feeling a bit tired after the weekend.

Warburton PS > La La Falls and return

My housemate has jokingly raved about La La Falls so decided I'd better visit. The way there was entirely uphill (although I didn't walk a step, so earnt the pie I'd had the day before), with a cruise back down. Leg felt a little achey on the way down, that could have also been from falling over the day before.
