Good workout with Travis

Training! Feeling uninspired so ran up the Mernda train line as far as Thornbury, then back on the other side of the tracks. Had planned to go to Croxton, but that didn't take long so kept going a bit. Was a bit of a slog on the way back but was moving ok.

Fairfield Park sprint training with James.

We both happened to dig up the same training map from Mikkel's days. It was hot and hilly and hard work and my legs didn't move quickly! Nor did my brain! Kind of just plodded around. Didn't really enjoy the ending going up and down the hill multiple times.

Evening jog to go and look at Dights Falls. It was pumping and a juvenile White-faced Heron came over to say hello. Went under the bats again (much less muddy than last time) and had a surprise encounter with Jayne. Note to self - can't go incognito when you're wearing the other person's clothes).

Right knee (for a change) was sore on the inside, underneath at the start, but came good after a bit. Knees generally not happy lately!

Another delightful jog, even warmer this time. More flowers. Knees not perfect - now right knee feels a little unsteady. Didn't see a soul in the bush (finally remembered that it's not a public holiday in Bendigo).

Very nice to have a weekend at home :)
