Not feeling crash-hot when I woke up this morning, so still went out and did the hill planned but not as a long run - timed it to catch the last bus back down the mountain!
Walked my way up to the big corner, about 25 minutes walk I reckon, and then started the jog up! Wasn't actually as bad as I thought, there were a few nasty bits but also parts where it was almost flat!
Calves were a bit of a nightmare though.. I thought the walk there would loosen things up a bit but the first 20 minutes of uphill was a bit painful - torn between stopping to stretch or just letting them warm up... anyway they eventually did, and now doing a lot of rolling and stretching!!
