Running 28:56 [3] 3.6 km (8:02 / km) +252m 5:57 / km
shoes: Saucony Cortana 4

Chalet to Pinnacle with Dad and Tom!
Pleasantly surprised with the pace I managed up here (and that I managed to run it all to begin with!) - obviously it wasn't exactly easy breezy, but it did feel manageable, just a steady shuffle kind of thing. Very foggy towards the pinnacle, pretty eerie and cool! Comforting to know that even though I'm going to feel about 1000% worse when it gets to that last 3.5 on the actual day, I now know psychologically I have run it before.
Foot was giving me a bit of strife beforehand, but as soon as we started I didn't notice it! Did a stretching and jog warmup beforehand too, and really only felt my calves in the last 1.5k or so, and not tooo bad. Stretched at the top before coming down again.

Running 51:00 [3] 3.58 km (14:15 / km) +90m 12:39 / km
shoes: Saucony Cortana 4

Down the Zigzag track and along under the organ pipes back to the car. Going down the zigzag track was just a walk, very steep downhill just basically rocks and rocky steps, slippery etc. Then the organ pipes track was rockier than we thought so couldn't really run that much at all either, but nice views.

Note

Iced foot once we got home - feels like a ligament thing perhaps? Was fine while running, but felt it afterwards.

Orienteering 1:02:00 [3] 6.5 km (9:32 / km) +11m 9:28 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Oroc 280

Night-o training at Pittwater.
Borrowed mum's headtorch which was so strong Zoe and I ended up going round together cause she just could not see haha, so initially my navigation was kind of lost in keeping up with her, but then got into a rhythm - was so difficult not to have the peripheral context of the land - definitely take it for granted! We were doing okay though, then started chatting but still managed to navigate okay. So not the most efficient training ever, but wasn't too bad and good to get out for a 'terrain' run. Foot quite sore now (Saturday) on the top - quite painful to walk, so hopefully will recover enough for this run tomorrow.

Cycling (Exercise bike) 40:00 [3]

Stayed out of the rain and did Mona intervals on the bike, with 5 min warmup, and 15 minutes just moderate afterwards.
Good stretching session afterwards too which was much needed.

Strength and conditioning (Pump class) 1:00:00 [3]

Decided today was the day to start the next transition in weights... so added a bit in squats, chest and shoulders only (just so my entire body didn't die), was definitely a challenge but definitely achievable! Keen to start upping the weights on the other tracks too.
For sure felt it in the days after especially shoulders/chest.
