Not feeling crash-hot when I woke up this morning, so still went out and did the hill planned but not as a long run - timed it to catch the last bus back down the mountain!
Walked my way up to the big corner, about 25 minutes walk I reckon, and then started the jog up! Wasn't actually as bad as I thought, there were a few nasty bits but also parts where it was almost flat!
Calves were a bit of a nightmare though.. I thought the walk there would loosen things up a bit but the first 20 minutes of uphill was a bit painful - torn between stopping to stretch or just letting them warm up... anyway they eventually did, and now doing a lot of rolling and stretching!!

Planned for a run but once again the weather got the best of us, so Dad just dropped me at the gym last minute so I only had half an hour before they closed! Turned it into an effortful interval session to make the best of it!

Nice jog to clear the head. Kept it to grass as much as possible, so lots of loops, wasn't that interesting but better for the legs at this point I think!

Reeaaally struggled with neck and shoulders yesterday, I'm guessing form the camelback which seems ridiculous it had such little water in it, but anyway I tried to take it easy today but isn't really possible in this class! Tough one as usual but good.

Out to the Domain and through the Botanical Gardens. Really struggled with my legs today, which I anticipated, thus why I wanted to do the pipeline instead yesterday but it poured, alllll day. So anyway, had to be done, I just had to stop a LOT to stretch, started with shins and then moved to calves and back again! Tried out the camelback for the first time, not too bad actually, and sampled a gel to try some different types before PTP. Nice to have been out and about, now back to my desk.
