Started off on the Akimina Parkway on my bike but had to walk almost from the get go. After 3 km decided to go back and rent a bike as i was really struggling on my bike with one gear.

Rode the Akimina Parkway to Cameron Lake. A little challenging on a mountain bike with no clips but okay. Easy on the way back. Would have flown on my road bike! Couldn't keep up to Dave as gears weren't high enough.

Planned as easy a route as possible due to my not being able to change gears. Bike shop here was not able to help: ( almost fell on the way back as there was a steep pitch and i was already standing so couldn't get my foot out of the pedal. Caught the railing and stayed upright:)
