orienteering race (thursday champs) 25:14 [5] 3.5 km (7:13 / km)

wasn't that keen on going since i was doing intervals later but thought id just do the short course and it was actually quite fun, cept for the spectator hill

can;t believe how sore i am. Wasn't gonna go but thought i might feel worse if i did nothing. hardly raised a sweat cos i just couldn't go any faster

orienteering race 59:35 [5] 7.1 km (8:24 / km) +200m 7:21 / km

much happier with this one. was first starter and on my own so had no distractions. Started quite slow and got into the map quickly and then only made small mistakes. Tried to push hard up the hills.

orienteering race (Middle) 35:39 [4] 3.9 km (9:08 / km) +100m 8:06 / km

can't really remember most of the run just felt like i never got into it and have no idea how i found no.5 and im sure it was wrong but was lucky enough not to waste too much tome there and after relocating a few times eventually got lower enough down to be able to see it. then the next few controls werent that great either.

orienteering race (OY Flagstone) 56:06 [3] 7.3 km (7:41 / km) +225m 6:40 / km

hurt my ankle going to the 2nd control and the next bit was all rocky downhill so had to go quite slow till i got back on the flat and then it felt fine the rest of the way and only realy lost a bit of time on 6 which i expected cos the control was on a termite mound on a vague spur. Got stuck in the fence on the way to finish.
