orienteering race (Banalasta) 1:31:00 [4] *** 7.5 km (12:08 / km)

Had to run in my thermal it was sooo cold. First part of the course was all in the open so it was a relief to get into the rocks away from the wind. Had a control like the one i mucked up the day before so was determined to get it right. Found it fine but then stuffed the next one which happened to be really close to the finish and very tempting to give up at that point. kept going and ended up doing the rest of the course well, except for one bad route choice. took forever to get warm after the event cos id worn my only thermal.

Was the shittest weather ever, pouring with rain and quite cold. Ran quite well apart from the 4th contol which i was too low on.

Felt pretty good. Had ache in arm and side yesterday from flu shot but its down to a dull ache today.

Some short intervals with little recovery. Thought id be feeling a bit flat cos had flu shot but felt fine.
