riding race (MTBO long) 2:57:00 [5] 33 km (5:22 / km) +345m 5:06 / km
shoes: Asics - kayano no.2
quite happy with this ride. Had a a bit of a stack over the handle bars early on which broke my map board and bent my handle bars. Carried my map the rest of the way and then near the end fell off in the mud and my map got covered. Found the next control but had to ask how to get to the finish. Only had to put my chain back on once so better than normal

Saturday Sep 1

riding race (MTBO sprint) 48:00 [4] 8 km (6:00 / km) +60m 5:47 / km

got most of the way to the first control but coultdn't change gears any more so tried to fix it then decided i should go back. Got some help and went on my way again. The rest fo the course was fine, very muddy but that made it more fun.
