not really riding but went to the gym and used all the cardio machines...pretty boring, but bike needs fixing!

used some more machines at the gym...poor little weakling arms!

pool wasnt deep enough for pool running.

15 mins after.

10 x 1min hard 30 sec easy
3 x 2 min hard 30 sec easy
HR didnt really get that high, even though legs worked as hard as they could.
maybee need to use arms more?

Rode with Shaun to Glenelg via the main roads mostly.
all smooth sailing till i got a puncture..then slit my tyre on something and got another...and then another..

Feels like quite a leg workout but HR was generally 120-135..pretty low, maybee ill try longer efforts or shorter recovery.
tried to keep up 90 double steps per min (up to 3 steps per sec)

quite enjoying swimming!! but cant be bothered counting laps of a 25m pool.
HR higher than the 'running'-135-145

Rode up Gorge rd, but not the really steep bit. Did some repeats from the truck depo to the bridge.
Awesome views but too many huge trucks
Not feeling 100% so it wasnt as long as i planned.

Long ride with Kay and Shaun, to the port, wingfield dump, long cuts through the backstreets home.
Kept fast cadence. no pain riding.

rode to tt gully and back for massage.
was hillier than i expected!
Note
Leg bit sore like before easter but none of the sharp pain.
Had a really painful massage, and the guy found lots of tight spots in my right calf to get stuck into.

Monday Apr 16

got a bit boring after after the first set, but bearable so far!! Actually got hr up a fair bit but didnt have monior.

swimming warm up, down and between the pool running.
Mostly freestyle
Note
leg quite painfull walking in the morning.
went to doctor.. had xray, didnt show much but its not a stress fracture, just irritation where muscle meets bone probably.
anyway, no running for at least two weeks.
leg not painful walking in the evening.
