Adelaide Trail Runners summer series race 1 at Anstey Hill.
Haven’t done a running race this long for years so started off carefully in ‘survival mode’ but pushed harder and harder as it went on. Very happy to be surprisingly strong on "torture track hill" (x2), to finish feeling really strong (nice technical downhill!) and be 2nd woman (didn't realise it was only by 9 seconds). Fun!

Run from Waite around to Brown Hill Ck and then Jenny showed us the trail up the side of Brown Hill overlooking Tilley Hill Rd - new area for me, for some reason felt like NZ or Europe.. must be all the green!
Chatting pace, I felt pretty sluggish to start with but I’m really enjoying longer runs!
