Monday Dec 25

Got out while everyone was tucking into there Christmas Turkey. From my place, up the creek, to pony club, then Sunday run till Kangaroo Gully Rd, onto Hunts Gap to the Harcourt channel, then Channel to Sanhurst Res and back home on the walking track around the back of Spring Gully res. Walked the last 10 mins home on the Bitumen from near Clara's house.
C • Merry Christmas Jimbo and good... 2
Note
Longest run in a long while, felt so much better than last time, no sign of Captain this time.

Sunday Dec 24

Note
Rest day, leg was a little sore. Went to Melbourne and picked up a rowing machine, played around with it for 20 mins once I got home, will soon be able to log it onto AP

Saturday Dec 23

RUNNING 20:00 [3]
Went for a easy evening run around the Golf Course, threw in a couple of surges, dropped into Keely's on the way home.

Friday Dec 22

MTB 50:00 [2]
Got out early so as not to get to much of the heat. Was one of my easiest rides that I have ever done, couldn't get anyone to come with me, I think they all slept in. Finished the ride by coming pass Keely's, and guess what. They were still in bed, I think those boys should take some advice from AJ
C • i kick ur ass any day jim

Thursday Dec 21

RUNNING 1:30:00 [3]
Ran from home to the pony club, then did the Sunday run loop around the res and through Kangaroo Gully, got as far as Clara's house (80mins) had to walk it home from there. Tempreture was 35.6 when I started, and 34.0 when I got home, rather warm. I feel better now it is over.

ORIENTEERING 1:00:00 [3]
Shadowing juniors, 1st of all James, then Bryan in the 1st exercise. 2nd exercise I shadowed Leon then Clare and in the final exercise I followed Toph, then Leon again.

Kendall didn't run, Morty tried to, but couldn't, then Bryan rolled a ankle, so he was out as well.

Good work by Rob Fell, who organised all the maps, and put out the tapes, Thanks FELL

Wednesday Dec 13

Event: Victorian Sprint Championships

ROAD BIKE 2:50:00 [3] 82 km (2:04 / km)
Big trip down the Calder to Woodend with Toph.
Toph was strong early on, getting me on every hill until the Metcalfe turn off, then he dropped of, so far he nearly disapeared from sight. Tough ride, bit sore in the saddle, and pushed it rather hard
ORIENTEERING race 18:00 [5]
Vic Sprint Champs, 1 bad error (1min) but just a bit stiff from the bike ride.

Tuesday Dec 12

WARM UP/DOWN 15:00 [3]
Pry to and after 1500
ATHLETICS race 5:00 [5]
Local athletics 1500m relay champs, I ran the last leg, so it meant I had to run the front straight 4 times, which is where all the wind was, dont know if I like 800s and 1500s

Monday Dec 11

MTB 40:00 [3]
Around the res with the L-Train, tempreture was a lot cooler, 18.
C • u sure about that........ 2

Sunday Dec 10

RUNNING 55:00 [3]
Early morning run with the lads, but none of them turned up, so I did it on my own, kept it shorter, as it was lonely out there )-;
MTB 1:00:00 [3]
Tempreture got up to 40, then it dropped down to 36, it felt so much cooler, so I contacted Keely, pulled him out of his airconditioned lounge room, and went for a ride around the res. Rode on Murrays Track Mark2, still could not do the crux climb maybe next time. Got rained on, well at these 10 drops. Should have been in Walpeup, they got 20mm
C • the only reason i went cos jim... 12

Friday Dec 8

ROAD BIKE 1:20:00 [3]
Wanted to ride in the morning before it got to hot. As L-Train "needed" his beauty sleep, I went with Toph. Out around the Goose-Neck and home along Tannery Lane, smoke from the fires in the NE had dropped visability down to 1 1/2 k. Can I trade myself for Carbon Credits? Must have consumed a bit today
Note
Met some drongo on Tannery Lane, who swore at us and told us to ride in single file, when are they going to read there Vic Roads rule book.
I dont like stereo typing, but it was a woman in a Toorak Tractor (4 wheel drive) Gave her the bird

Thursday Dec 7

MTB 20:00 [3]
Went down to the Tom Flood sports field to watch Shamus run a 1600, he ran a good race. 5k there and back, got down there in a average speed of 35kph, not bad seeing I had to through the middle of Bendigo.

Wednesday Dec 6

Note
Was going to go for a MTB ride, but got a days work in Cobram, so missed out

Monday Dec 4

ORIENTEERING 50:00 [3]
Put out tapes with Morty, for Leon, Bryan, Rob, Toph and my sister at Mt Korong, on the Mens Elite course from Aus Middle Distance Champs, started out slowly, as Morty put on the pressure, he tired out like lots of young guys do, Morty and I managed to keep away from everyone chasing us.

Lovely area, will defently be going back training.

C • So let me know when 3
ORIENTEERING 20:00 [3]
Put out tapes for the same mob, this time with the help of Rob, he was navigating well, biggest mistake was when we disagreed on which boulder to put the tape on. Turns out Rob had miss marked his map. So we put a tape on both boulders, in case it was me who had marked my map wrong.
Once again, very nice area, even if it got a tad hot.

Sunday Dec 3

MTB 45:00 [3] 16 km (2:49 / km)
Went for a quick spin around the Res, went the other way around, clockwise, legs felt a little heavy early on, but was fine by the end.

Saturday Dec 2

ORIENTEERING 1:00:00 [3]
First O training for the new season. Susanne and 007 where over from SA, L Train and kEeLy went as well. Put out the tapes for 2 courses, started near the top of Mt Alexander, and ran a downhill course, drove the car back up and did another downhill course. Map is not bad for an area that was mapped 22 years ago, very enjoyable.
C • which map? 8
