Sunday May 6

Event: Puffing Billy Great Train Race

ORIENTEERING race (Creswick Diggings) 1:44:55 [5]
Not a bad race, got the 1st 3 out of the road fairly quickly, bit thicker around 4, so changed my route choice to up and over for 5, track a little faint on the way to 7, didnt do 9 and 10 the best way, Caught Big Ev at 11, and Simon caught me, stayed with him throught to 16, allough he was still in sight till 19.
Fairly clean run all up, just lost the plot going to 22 and let Blair get me on time, lost to him by 8 secs.
WARM UP/DOWN warm up/down 10:00 [3]
Must have warmed up, just cant rememeber if I did

Saturday May 5

ORIENTEERING race (Petticoat Gully) 39:10 [5]
Not a good run at all, never got into the map, to many times I ran into the centre of the circle, not knowing where I was. Biggest losts of time was at 3 (to high) 8 (left) and 11(to low)
Got caught by Liggo at 11, helped him through to score points for Nuggets. but because he doesnt wear a nuggets top, we lost a point, Next time I will lead him astray
C • Jymbo - trust me, you weren't ... 2
ORIENTEERING race (Monash University) 20:04 [5]
Didn't get the route choice to 2 right, then blew it on 4, didnt think I was running that bad to be this far down the field though
WARM UP/DOWN warm up/down (2000) 20:00 [3]
Can remember warming up, for the sprint, helped collect a control afterwards.
Note
Great area for a sprint, cracker 2nd leg, Good courses by Liggo, except he let the Nuggets down later in the day by not wearing the correct uniform.

Friday May 4

Event: Aust. WOC Trials

MTB 15:00 [3]
Hadnt done much all day, so rode over to my nephews house and back. Made sure they understood that we were going to leave at 5.30 in the morning, as it was they didnt get into the car till close to 5.45. Next time I will sleep in as well

Wednesday May 2

ROAD BIKE (Goose Neck) 1:20:00 [3]
Nice ride by myself as my sister is working in Castlemaine and Bryan is at the Nursery.

Another good day for it

FARTLEK tempo 40:00 [4]
Went via a post box to post a letter, then onto the Golf Course for some 80% efforts on the fairways.
