Wednesday Jan 30

MTB 22:50 [3]7 km (3:16 / km)
shoes: Nike Bike shoes
Was meant to do the 3 res ride today, but a number of factors made sure that was not to be. At these I got out, even if most of it was in the dark, Up the ridge to DH, then SG oval and home via the creek

shoes: Nike Bike shoes
Aaron Dodd made a quicker transition than I did and got out 1st, got him on the 1st hill, clean ride

Transition times are both in the bike leg, that is why the k rate is a little slow

RUN race 11:55 [4]2.37 km (5:02 / km) vdot: 36.0
shoes: Teva #1
Final run, Clara (doing the short course, we had a common last loop) had just left the transition area as I arrived back, so I knew there was going to be a race on, got her on the way to the last.

C • you should have had a race! 2

Sunday Jan 20

RUN long 1:55:00 [3]21.7 km (5:18 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom
From my place with Johnny to the start of the YM run, then with a good group around the loop, back home and then towards Johns place for a while to get over 1/2 marathon distance. Pace was a little slower, mainly cos Virginia came for her 1st run in 5 years. Lovely conditions for running, Bendigo has had 26 mm of nice soaking rain over the last 48 hrs.

Monday Jan 14

RUNNING 50:00 [3]9.5 km (5:16 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom
Nice run with my Sister, Bryan and the little Fella, up OTH to water tank, home via the track, where we talked to supercoach, then along to Big Ev's new digs, Houston St then back to my place with Big Ev who was just starting out on his run. Was out there for 70 mins, but there was a bit of down time, cant count that

Sunday Jan 13

RUN 1:00:20 [3]12.28 km (4:55 / km)
Was meant to be longer, but not to be. Ridge track to DH, around the res via the longer options, home down the creek

Note

All the ditches and gullies have water in them, and this is suppose to be the worse drought on record, it amazing the waste that goes on when the local water authority gets hold of Goulburn Valley water, they are even pouring water into Spring Gully res, mixing it with reclaimed water, so it cant be used for human consumption if the need a rises. What a waste

ROAD BIKE 1:20:00 [3]26.9 km (2:58 / km)
shoes: Nike Bike shoes
Very nice ride with Clara. So much easier than last week. Out Tanneries, Ryalls Lane, bike track through Wildflower Drive map. Checked out assembly areas for the upcoming Street Series and Bendigo ToDay, and came home

Sunday Jan 6

RUN 1:34:30 [3]18 km (5:15 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus #1
YM run, good turn out, Johnny, Rossco, Paul and my sister. Johnny ran from his place, and then we ran to the start where we meet the others, usaul loop, I was nearly going to get a lift home, but decided that I had better HTFU, so I ran home
MTB 55:00 [2]11 km (5:00 / km)
Clara said she wanted a flat short easy ride, well it wasn't flat, and it was on the outside of being short, but it was easy. Around the northern slopes of OTH, plenty of storm damage on the tracks, made them quite hard to ride on. Finished of coming back up Back Crk, by far the nicest part of the ride.
C • Tracks and storm. 1

shoes: Nike Bike shoes

Thursday Jan 3

RUNNING 30:00 [2]5.5 km (5:27 / km)
Up DH, but once I got there, I couldn't go on, so sat on the mullock heap and adjusted the setting on the garmin. Sitting there admiring the view, when Clara rode by, it seemed that she was just as excited about training as I was, so we called it a day, and I ran back home with her. Just what I needed, had to run a little harder when Clara surged on the hills, ;-( but she did take it easy on me on the down hill (-:

Wednesday Jan 2

ROAD BIKE 30:00 [3]13 km (2:18 / km)
shoes: Nike Bike shoes
Spent all day thinking about this ride, but when I came to do it, I couldn't be fagged. Up over OTH, then down to Uni and home around the OTH pub
