| 100, 100's, (-: This was the warm up for the 4x100m relay. Went out on the back of the Vet 40+ pack, but started feeling the pace after 6 laps, went through 3k in 11 min, and really started to crack as I went pass 5 k in 19 min (Last 2k in 8 min, 4 mink's, not good at all), settled in to rythmn and started to feel better, did the last 5k in 18.49, so was happy with that as at some stage I looked like I was not going to go under 40 |

| I was getting wet where ever I was,
1, It was raining
2, I was sweating a lot as it was quite warm
3, Every time I went over the water i got wet feet
Haven't done a steeple in years, Bendigo has been on water restictions for that they dont normally run them. Went out easy, but started to feel it, got into rhythm and finished well, but the winner had got away early, and I coundn't close the gap. |
