Running 1:31:56 [3] 16.81 km (5:28 / km) +41m 5:24 / km

Trumpington, Granchester, out to the hill, Coton, Grange road fields. Only about 3km on tarmac, all the rest on grass and mud.
Feeling tired at the beginning, and the first half seemed to go on for ever, but better in the second half. Looking forward to doing these long runs with other people again now term is getting started.

Still feeling a bit clogged up so wasn't sure how this would go, but it seems like the cold is now at the stage where it doesn't affect running much, will have to wait for some speed work to see how it really reacts.

From home to Cambridge station, from Brandon station to Thetford and back home after. Arrived at Brandon station on the way back at the same time as the train so that was a pretty fast section compared to the rest. Also cycled around a bit in the forest whilst tagging controls but that was very stop start so not counting that.

Strength and Conditioning 43:00 [2]

Fairly standard circuit, we have weights now which is good, also boxes for box jumps. Feeling good- need to keep up the circuits work this term.

Swimming 1:00:00 [2] 2.3 km (26:05 / km)

Standard swim set. Feeling tired in the second half but the still faster than last time I did the set.
Extra arm only drills at the end.

Wednesday Jan 11, 2017 #

Running 30:00 [3] 5.7 km (5:16 / km)

Still feeling a bit gunky but fine to run fairly easy.
Grange road fields so muddy though- shoes must have gained about 1kg of mud at one point.
