Orienteering race 35:51 [3] 4.8 km (7:28 / km) +181m 6:17 / km

Same again, not physically great, navigationally generally good, messed up one in the woods on a parallel line of crags but relocated back into it pretty fast.

Saturday Feb 11, 2017 #

Running wu/cd 29:56 [3] 4.71 km (6:21 / km) +84m 5:50 / km

Long cool down along the lake shore and back.

Orienteering race 31:56 [3] 4.22 km (7:34 / km) +114m 6:40 / km

Physically still a bit clogged up with cold so not running great, but navigation generally good although sometimes a bit messy.

Thursday Feb 9, 2017 #

Swimming 1:00:00 [3] 2.5 km (24:00 / km)

Pretty standard, breathing on both sides definitely getting better.

Wednesday Feb 8, 2017 #

Strength and Conditioning 30:00 [2]

2 x 15:00 standard loop.
Swapped out squat thrusts for box jumps. Feeling strong.

Orienteering training 1:12:49 [3] 12.47 km (5:50 / km) +20m 5:48 / km

CUOC training at Jesus Green.
Jogged there and back. Some pretty stupid mistakes on the map memory legs, but really enjoyed the complex bits in the houses- worth another visit.

Tuesday Feb 7, 2017 #

Running 16:03 [3] 3.58 km (4:29 / km) +21m 4:21 / km

CUHH Intervals.
Short session since most people were at BUCs on Saturday.
16 x 0:30 [0:30]
Reps @ 3:48 pace, recoveries @ 5:06 pace.
Fast recovery meant that this was actually quite a tough session, but over so quickly.

Monday Feb 6, 2017 #

Easy to sports centre- had an apple a bit too close to leaving so didn't feel great. Could just feel right hip on the way back.
