Running 1:06:43 [3] 12.34 km (5:24 / km) +209m 4:59 / km

Up past the memorial and over the zig zags towards Quernmore, then across some fields to Long Lane, across to Mt Vernon, then up over the reservoir road and home through Hala. Feeling reasonable, legs a bit tired.

Running wu/cd 31:19 [3] 4.98 km (6:17 / km) +82m 5:49 / km

Running 23:17 [3] 4.85 km (4:48 / km) +39m 4:37 / km

5x laps of the park because a tree was down in the back section, reasonable tempo but found it hard to motivate on the hill knowing how many laps there still were to go.

Running 46:09 [3] 8.16 km (5:39 / km) +72m 5:25 / km

With mum round Burrow Hill and then through Stodday to avoid the canal. Very easy pace, tried to focus on keeping good form but quite easily distracted.

Running wu/cd 20:56 [3] 3.76 km (5:34 / km) +57m 5:11 / km

Running 20:02 [3] 3.91 km (5:07 / km) +50m 4:49 / km

Hill reps on Aldercliffe Hill.
2x 30s up, 6x 1:00 up, 30s up [same time down]
Must have been running slowly on the down as there was no rest on the 30s, and about 5s on the 1mins, but a decent reintroduction to hill reps.

Wednesday Aug 15, 2018 #

Running 1:01:26 [3] 11.01 km (5:35 / km) +129m 5:16 / km
shoes: Inov8 X Talon

Up to the mast and back through Bailrigg again, today feeling much more tired than the other day. Think I must be a bit run down from the last two weeks working on the summer school, hopefully can just build back into it.

Tuesday Aug 14, 2018 #

With Mum round the Burrow Hill loop, running a few loops to let her get ahead in places.
