Sunday Apr 14 #

Running 40:23 [3] 7.47 km (5:24 / km) +48m 5:14 / km
shoes: Brooks Ghost 11

Easy round the estuary, legs feeling okay although a bit tired up the hills.

2x 15 minute circuit

Saturday Apr 13 #

Running 2:31:00 [3] 18.13 km (8:20 / km) +1266m 6:10 / km
shoes: Inov8 X Talon

Eskdale elevation fell race
Much more my style of fell race because the climbs were steep (so I could overtake people), and the decents were fairly gentle (so not too many people overtook me), and the views were very nice too.
Not sure I took the best route around the side of Illgill Head, but think it was a reasonable line off Scafell and down to Eel tarn.

Thursday Apr 11 #

Running 59:40 [3] 8.38 km (7:07 / km) +393m 5:46 / km
shoes: Inov8 X Talon

Clougha with mum so fairly easy, feeling good all the way round even on the climb.

Wednesday Apr 10 #

Running wu/cd 12:55 [3] 1.75 km (7:23 / km) +50m 6:28 / km
shoes: Inov8 X Talon

Orienteering training 36:02 [3] 4.81 km (7:29 / km) +132m 6:35 / km

LOC evening event at Colonels Drive
Running at a fairly steady pace so navigationally fine- probably should have pushed harder but legs felt tired.

Tuesday Apr 9 #

Running 45:06 [3] 8.6 km (5:15 / km) +142m 4:51 / km
shoes: Brooks Ghost 11

Up to the mast and back through Hala rather than Bailrigg.

Monday Apr 8 #

shoes: Brooks Ghost 11

Running 29:45 [3] 4.98 km (5:58 / km)

Intervals at Crook O’Lune
Didn’t have much speed in the legs today, but good to get them turning over a bit faster.
