Just cruising round the Short Brown as my long run for the week, generally fairly easy navigation but a bit messy in some of the circles.
To work on: Looking at compass at important times along the leg (ie going round/through things which drag off course) and having a plan into the control circle that isn’t ‘and then find the control...’

East of Scotland XC relays
Was worried that I’d started too fast because the first bit was really muddy but found a good rhythm and stuck the same distance from the girl ahead, finished relatively strong.

Employing the principle of no such thing as too slow today. Nice and easy over the side of the seat.

Didn’t pace it very well, felt like I was picking the pace up at the end so probably should have been less cautious on the first couple.

Haries run - nice and chatty most of the way with Victoria, possibly going a bit fast for an easy filler run but felt okay.
