Mourne Mountain Marathon
Probably one of the most naturally socially distanced events out there, but still very impressed the organisers managed to pull this off. Amazing weather all weekend as well, ideal for chilling at the overnight camp.
Running with Heather again, this year on the Elite. Definitely slowing Heather down a lot, felt very flat from the start and struggling with breathing on anything too fast or too uphill. Being out for a long time probably makes it worse but have been having similar feelings on and off since around the start of July, not sure what's causing it but just need to be careful and keep things easy for a while.
A positive side effect of going slowly is that legs wise everything feels fine, and we had lots of extra time to enjoy what will potentially be the last big hills for a while depending on new restrictions.
