Middle at Costorphine without paths
Legs feeling tired after yesterday and the cycle out, so wasn't running that hard, and mostly in control with the navigation, just a bit sloppy on the way in and out of some of the controls (in to 13, out of 15, out of 17, in to 18, in to 20, out of 29), not looking at compass enough. Think it's easier to pay attention to the contour shapes when the paths aren't on the map to distract you.
Could feel foot again afterwards, about the same as yesterday evening.

Scot Sprintland Knock-out Sprint 'quali' and 'quarter-final'
18:28 for the quali in The Steils.
Orienteering relatively smoothly, felt like I was mostly planning ahead and picking a good route to flow round, but not a super tricky area because you could get through most places.
9:27 for the qf in Oxgangs
Much scrappier, not planning ahead as well, and didn't know where a couple of the controls were going to be before I got there.

6:40 for the semi
Picked C which seemed to be faster(?), then once the others overtook me was mostly focussing on running at their speed, and then messed up 9 and 10.
8:42 for the final
Picked 3 which again seemed to be faster, then was mostly falling off the back of the pack, possibly a suboptimal route to 9 and definitely suboptimal to 10, wasn't really thinking by that point.

Sprint at Liberton
So nice to have group training back on, even if I was running alone for most of the course. Probably running a bit too comfortably slow, but a few small mistakes/bad route choices, good courses.

Legs still feeling tired, so a slow and rainy plod round the seat, duddingston and prestonfield golf courses. Hopefully they'll sort themselves out before the weekend.

Legs felt tired, but paces fairly consistent, and super nice to finally be running with a group again.
