Better today, although could do with more hill fitness. Took a bad line into 1 and ended up a bit high on the slope, messy in the circle at 5, big banana into 6, confused by the walls at 18, and poor route choice to 21. Some good navigation on the others though, enjoyed the course and the area a lot.
A bit annoyed by the course planning though with the mens course being exactly the same as the womens until 17, meaning that we were constantly being overtaken by them. Obviously these events are just low key and trying to minimise controls, but if the courses have to be identical it wouldn’t be that hard to start the women after the men? On an area like this though it seems like it should be possible to reuse the same controls in a different order to make an equally interesting course.
