Hiking 2:47:22 [0] 5.99 mi (27:56 / mi) +561m 21:39 / mi

Hike into Lairig Ghru for a solo bivy. Totally glorious :-) left car at Sugar Bowl CP. Through Chalamain Gap and into the Ghru. A few quizzical looks at the lone female carrying bivy kit and a crazy happy smile on her face! Played around in the rocks a bit and set up bivy just south of the Pools of Dee. Wind howling through but managed a bit of shelter. Very toasty in my bags.

Run into Loch Einich with Jon, he turned round earlier and I ran a bit further to the actual Loch. Hideous headwind, really hideous but sunshine oh glorious sunshine and fab views :-)

Easy pace with the watch numbers hidden! Taking it easy to keep ankle quiet. Mostly worked! Glorious sunny day but boring wind!
