11 AM

Orienteering 1:52:10 [3] 4.74 mi (23:40 / mi) +105m 22:08 / mi

Well less that two hours!! No 20 or 30 minute control hunting at least; plenty of muppetry - with 19 controls there were lots of opportunities to accumulate lost minutes! Muppetry on about 4 controls plus time wasting with shoe laces, layer removing etc. BUT loved it! Really did :-)

Saturday Mar 23 #

12 PM

Hiking 27:30 [3] 1.41 mi (19:30 / mi) +161m 14:23 / mi

Hike up Scolty Hill with Kaisa while birthday girl at North clubs training day.

Running 29:19 [3] 2.84 mi (10:19 / mi) +53m 9:45 / mi

And then a run back down by myself and some random bimble running - feeling shattered after a busy week, baking a birthday cake at 11pm and getting packed up for weekend!

Friday Mar 22 #

11 AM

Running 1:15:13 [3] 7.11 mi (10:35 / mi) +36m 10:25 / mi

Adventures in the forest. What happens when it's a very high tide and several Kms is the route are under water! A mix of rabbit trails, no trail, wading through the saltmarsh and forest tracks. A few showers but lovely sunshine despite the wind!

Thursday Mar 21 #

6 PM

Running 34:29 [3] 3.75 mi (9:12 / mi) +63m 8:44 / mi

After far too much time spent sitting on backside today, and definitely too much time on the A9 ... A nice gentle bimble round the woods with H & P. One headtorch between us but we didn't need it much anyway. Ridiculously mild.

Wednesday Mar 20 #

Running 42:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:15 / km) +20m 5:11 / km

Steady trundle from car park at back of Findhorn Foundation. Legs felt pretty good. Bl00dy wind is back though grrrrrr!

Tuesday Mar 19 #

2 PM

Running 36:38 [3] 5.01 mi (7:19 / mi) +20m 7:13 / mi

The quality over quantity one aka the one where I felt sick at the end! I1 mile steady, 4 miles hard. Harder in slick road shoes on forest tracks but if I went home to change shoes I might not have bothered running at all!! Warm!

Running 9:01 [3] 1.03 mi (8:45 / mi)

1ish miles easy

Monday Mar 18 #

1 PM

Running 1:02:31 [3] 4.21 mi (14:51 / mi) +169m 13:12 / mi

After a night on the sleeper train and a weekend with the folks and then straight off train and into office this morning, wasn't really in the mood for much ... So thought I'd see if I could find a route up the steep slope behind the Green lochan ... As you do, in your lunch break!! I did start on a wee track ... But soon lost that! Scrabbling up scree, frozen hands in the snow and hanging onto trees. .. 200m of excitement! Decided to save it for another day with more time!!
