Garmin ran out of charge after 8.5 hours so last 11ish miles missing. Grand day out on this tough but wonderfully low key event. Technical trails, steep climbs, wonderfully bouncy grassy descents, a bit of road, a bit of bog. Basic checkpoints precising squash/water refills, cups is tea, biscuits, crisps etc but you carry all you need, no drop bags.
Askham-Loadpot Hill-High Street-Patterdale-Grisedale Tarn-Thirlmere-Hellvelyn-Whiteside-Glenridding-Place Fell-Mardale-Askham. One large blister under big toe, one sore hip flexor and very creaky today!

3 miles effort. Lots of coughing, asthma inhaler been jammed, only managed to collect replacement today, pollen maybe add well, legs turned anyway, but not sure much oxygen was going to brain! Forest tracks still a bit greasy, and that headwind - ooft!
