Running 1:12:15 [3] 5.51 mi (13:07 / mi) +473m 10:21 / mi

Really wanted to try and fit a downhill in before the week was out, as six days will be all about slogging through terrain and wondering where the hell I am!! So parked at lodge as working today anyway. Legs not remotely warmed up so had to walk/jog the first bit. Stiff pull up the zig zags - asthma a bit grumbly at the moment. Thankfully picked up a breeze as already 21 degrees at 8.30. usual stunning views at the top. Just the best fun running off the other side, even with my fairy-like downhill skills!! Skipping and bounding - speed 2s are awesome on downhills, just need my feet to love them on everything else too! Pushed to keep going on the track back round to the lodge - legs thoroughly warmed up by now!

Thursday Jul 25 #

10 AM

Running 40:52 [3] 4.52 mi (9:02 / mi) +50m 8:44 / mi

Easy paced bimble from Roseisle main carpark after dropping Scarlett off with the Lagganlia crowd for some training. Glad I got out before it got proper warm though. Legs heavy to start and then ticking along ok. Obligatory sea dip for a cool down :-)

Wednesday Jul 24 #

9 AM

Running 1:32:26 [3] 10.0 mi (9:15 / mi) +42m 9:07 / mi

Easy 10-miler with two of the Harriets. Parked at end of bumpy track at Findhorn. Out on coastal path, onto the little forest track. Turned around at Roseisle. Legs had no real oomph, probably lack of breakfast didn't help ... Always good when you don't actually know what time you are leaving and are still lounging around in bed drinking coffee (kids away) when you're lift arrives!! Anyway, easy, chatty, and another sea swim to finish. Want some life back in legs, am sure 6 days will suck the life out of them!!

Mbk in to Buckie loch

Running 9:17 [3] 1.01 mi (9:12 / mi)
ahr:135 max:144

Token warm-up. Oh boy, the body was not feeling the love! Warm in the sunshine though - yay! Summer!!

Running 23:26 [3] 3.01 mi (7:47 / mi)
ahr:162 max:170

Tempo run - basically me trying to run and breathe while Jon skips along barefoot chatting and expecting answers from me!! :-D. One of those sessions you know it's good for you, but feels anything but!! Very scenic though :-) A bit of wading in the sea and shoe lace faffing.

So glad I could just jump straight in the sea afters.

Legs felt very tired today

Cycling 18:29 [3] 3.49 mi (5:18 / mi) +2m 5:17 / mi

Mbk out again with a stop for a quick chat with Morag on her way to meet the Lagganlia gang
