Orienteering 1:16:52 [3] 3.49 mi (22:01 / mi) +11m 21:49 / mi

INVOC Carse of Ardesier.
Green. Embracing the fact my Orienteering, that was always a bit random, has been getting steadily worse! So no more blues until I can keep the focus and not get too adventurous!
Anyway, tired legs and a determination not to be last meant I went slowly, walked even. And it actually worked. I was far from last despite some dithering and the odd misplacement!!
Feeling vaguely hopeful :-)

Saturday Nov 23 #

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3] 1.5 mi (6:40 / mi)

2 PM

Running race 37:03 [3] 4.74 mi (7:49 / mi) +185m 6:58 / mi

North District XC #3.
Senior guys and gals running together - way better than the usual strung out running with the guys trampling on the girls half way through!
Been feeling sluggish all week and really wasn't finding race head but managed to hang in there. 14th woman. Quite a few no shows though. Perfect conditions underfoot and awesome cheering on from our juniors who are a fab bunch.

Running warm up/down 5:21 [3] 0.54 mi (9:54 / mi)

Running 1:17:40 [3] 7.15 mi (10:52 / mi) +44m 10:39 / mi

Lovely run with Jane, through Culbin to see the sea :-) there was lots of chat, but we only missed one turning on the way back :-) some of the terrain bits were seriously overgrown, with lots of broom barring the way. Murky and damp but beautiful

Running 45:26 [3] 5.1 mi (8:54 / mi) +26m 8:46 / mi

Club run. Not quite the blast I was hoping for but a decent leg turn over none-the-less. Perhaps better given the grassy 3 lap horror in the park that awaits me on Saturday ...
Legs feeling seriously twitchy after a full-on, head down, eyes glued to computer for far too long today!! The drive home is all in the dark now too :-(

Wednesday Nov 20 #

Running 1:18:52 [3] 6.0 mi (13:08 / mi) +157m 12:09 / mi

Tuesday Nov 19 #

Running 36:00 [2] 6.6 km (5:27 / km) +70m 5:11 / km

Slidey bimble from home on mix of bike path and trail. Beautiful in the frost. Legs glad to have had a pummeling yesterday so moving a bit more freely, am sure that won't last for long!!
