Running 1:28:58 [3] 10.07 mi (8:50 / mi) +172m 8:23 / mi

#1 Beautiful morning to be out. In lieu of being unable to get the hills (quietly crying inside!!!) a great run with Siobhan and Hilary. Done bits of this route but not the whole as a loop so need to try and remember it.

Desperately needing to run far far away from domestic responsibilities at the moment!! Mum hat is struggling!!

Saturday Nov 30 #

Running 18:00 [2] 3.0 km (6:00 / km)

Some dreadmill Kms to get warmed up so I could do a few strength things (step ups, press ups, dips). Need to do more weights stuff to fight the aging bones etc ... Feeling rather meh and CBA today, just tired.

Tired legs, not surprised after last night's blast. Had planned to take mbk to work today but realised it wouldn't work. So a very easy paced run out from the lodge. Legs actually turning over ok, just sore really. Such a stunning day so stopped loads to admire and take photos.
Not sure what to make of the two girls trying to find the Green Lochan via Google maps, who'd manage to drive up the large track that wraps itself round beneath m-a-b!! They'd parked by the bench at the viewpoint and didn't seem keen on the idea they'd have to hike back up afterwards! Not sure what they expected really!!

Running 44:23 [3] 6.0 mi (7:24 / mi) +33m 7:16 / mi

Harriers club run. Was feeling rather weary before I set out and wasn't convinced there was life in my legs. Apparently there was, although I could definitely feel the effort! Ran with Mark B, we managed some vague chat whilst trying to get 02 in the lungs.
Pleased off the back of yesterday's longer run.
Really rather weary now so hoping for better sleep than last night's hopeless effort!

Running 1:16 [3] 0.13 mi (9:29 / mi) +2m 9:01 / mi

Running 1:37:07 [3] 11.01 mi (8:49 / mi) +172m 8:25 / mi

Really really dismal grey day! When you can see the drizzle blowing at an angle in the air, it's not inviting! Wasn't actually that cold unless running head into the wind, but waterproof definitely needed! Ticking along fine on the flat, but pretty crap on the hills, not sure what's going on at the moment but it's a bit depressing tbh!! But got it done. Heels pretty creaky at the moment.

Note

Rest day. Frustratingly no windows for anything! Feeling pretty shattered so far this week so perhaps a good thing :-/

Monday Nov 25 #

4 PM

Running 40:16 [3] 4.51 mi (8:56 / mi) +68m 8:32 / mi

Headtorch bimble on way home from work. Bit damp and drizzly but actually a lovely night and a shame I needed to be home ... But I had the food in the van for tea!!
Legs ticking over ok but definitely some residual soreness from Saturday's abuse!!
